The Home Inspection is About You

Home inspecting is more about People than about Houses.
Home inspections can help identify housing issues ranging from routine maintenance to financial concerns to safety hazards per the Standards of Practice of ASHI.

Better Information leads to Better Decisions.

A Home Inspection is Educational

A professional home inspection report is not just a list of problems.  Each inspection is a customized, guided, educational seminar on the property that may soon be your new home.  It helps you to understand not only housing concerns, but the unique context in which they present themselves.
Better Education leads to a Better Understanding of Issues.

All Home Inspections are Not Alike

Each individual inspector is unique with a different set of strengths, weaknesses, and values.  It is tempting to assume that all licensed or certified home inspectors are interchangeable.  Unfortunately, this is not the case.  It is important to select your inspector with care.  Ask your inspector questions.  Determine your level of confidence in the inspector you select for this important job.  Choose your inspector the way you would choose your doctor.

Better Inspectors lead to Better Information.
